cant spawn anything

i click the portrats in the menue but all that does is play a sound effect

press Q or E to spawn something facing left or right

Like most games, if you press escape, you can access the keybinds menu

i was pressing those but for some reason
they where invisisble or where not working at all until i restarted the game.

i dont know why it was doing this but it was.

this thread is old and this doesn't happen anymore. if it does, you probably have some kind of faulty mod installed

I have no mods installed and am still having this issue. My specs are in between the minimum and recommended system requirements, so I'm confused what's wrong :(

I tried emailing the email address on their website, but I think my email got marked as spam, so I'm going to try again.

i restarted the game and it worked, try clicking the object from the menu and the pressing q or e

Don't botha with emails.
Try verifying the game then if that dont work, reinstall.
That don't work, try and test these:
-disable steam cloud
-verify
-restart steam w/ no other programs that steam running (part from antivirus, sound software, etc. Just not task manager, discord, that stuff.)

when i spawn 3 items or more after 2 the rest are invisible im still having this bug no mods or anything

If doing that didn't fix any issues you may have, then possibilites are:
-old graphics driver
-faulty mod
-bad software (stuff that says youll get more frames in games, that sorta shady stuff
-try disabling antivirus, maybe?

reinstalling a vanilla game and making sure your graphic driver is up to date should fix any game issue. If that doesn't fix it, and you're playing vanilla, then it's probably some bug - games can cause weird issues for obscure things, like for example cooking sim vr crashed for people who used a specific language.
