Workshop or Mod Support?

I think this game would've gotten the best superhero game if you got to modify it and make your own powers even characters, and just go crazy with it, would be like spore with superheroes

Since it hasn't released yet I can't really say the game needs mods for powers. From what I've seen, the map could use the attention. From the video it appears to be only like 1km x 1km. With that kind of flight speed you'd get across the map in 15-20 seconds. I'd like to see a map bigger than the Superman Returns game that came out all those years ago. A diverse map would be great too, not just all city environment, farmlands, urban areas, even a mountain in the distance you could get to would be nice. I pray this game has great mod support.

Its better to add modding, they said that the game won't add more content than what it is at its stage, this was just a side project they were working on its free because its a gift for the community, but it would be amazing if we could make mods for powers, models and maps maybe

It'll be up to us for the mods. The 3 creators said they are already with a bigger company and they dont have time for this anymore. Maybe in the future they would develop a sequel to this with far more detail and content.

Seeing as it's Unreal Engine, if they gave the source packet, it wouldn't be too difficult to make modes, improvements and new modes.

Seems kind of unlikely that they would get a lot of say in it even if its their current employer who wants to do it.
Just hope that a medium-large studio notices the game and then recreates the gameplay with additional funds for extra gameplay, more content and a larger world.

is there a way to ask the creators to continue this project maybe start a gofund me or some kind of poll to show them how much interest there is in this game and seeing it expanded sooner rather than later. or at least a way to try and ask if they can provide whats necessary to mod the current game instead of just waiting and hoping that they do so? this project is one of the coolest things i have seen in a long time and hearing that its just being tossed aside really blows. Id pay good money for more content. I plan on reserving the new modern warfare soon but i much rather throw money at this if it was possible.

We all wish. Email them directly on their student site they posted. As of now we are at the mercy of those capable of modding without the source code.
