This game has an average of 8 players a day, meanwhile something like ITR2 which is in early access, but it has more content and around 80 players a day.
A game with the same price and more content I recommend is Bootstrap Island.
1: there's local multiplayer(one of the main "must-haves" for any asymmetric game imo)
2: not as roomscale heavy as something like Acron(don't got space? just pull yourself over or do teleportation!)
3: voice chat(and you can scream "PUNY KNIGHTS" every 10 seconds)
if you want to see the barebones, no-frills take on something like this,
there is stuff like Nemesis Perspective(pack an Xbox controller and find a friend) or Red Ruins(set up a discord call and beg your mates) if you really want to "try before you buy", but hopefully by the time it fully releases, it'll be a bit more worth it.
P.S: VR GOTY should be going to Hover Junkers, all the finalists could've been better.
