This post will be regularly updated as fixes and workarounds are implemented and discovered. We are looking to make the game as stable and well supported as we can so everyone can have a good experience!

I'm having issues with PCVR using a Link cable
Some players have reported that when launching with PCVR for either SteamVR and Oculus devices, the game comes up as a flatscreen game rather than in VR. This can be fixed with the following steps:

If you're using Steam Link:
1. Open SteamVR on your PC
2. Go to Settings > OpenXR
3. Change the "Current OpenXR Runtime" to "SteamVR"

If you're using Oculus Link:
1. Open the Oculus app on your PC
2. Go to Settings > General
3. Set the active OpenXR runtime to "Oculus"

Also, you can switch the OpenXR Runtime in DAVIGO itself:
1. Launch the game
2. Go to Settings > Virtual Reality
3. Select an alternative OpenXR Runtime and restart the game

I can't seem to download the Knight's Pass
This can happen because the person signed into Steam owns the base game of DAVIGO. Technically, the Knight's Pass is seen by Steam as a "demo", and demos can't be downloaded if you already own the full game. Generally, you don't need the Knight's Pass, since the base game is for both PC and VR players.

I get an error when trying to open a room
This can happen for a few reasons:
1. You're using Steam's Family Share: Currently you must be signed into Steam as the owner of the game, although we'll look into supporting this, if possible

2. There is some conflict with your ports. Go to Settings > Networking and change the number in the Create Port input field.

I see an error that reads "Error Code: Error" when trying to join a room
We've seen this appear when there are two instances of the game being played on the same account, across two PCs. Make sure to only run one instance of the game on an account. You do not need to use the Knight's Pass if you're playing the main version of the game locally.

Known Issues
These are some of the issues we're aware of and are looking into. Please check back regularly to see our progress and updates on these tasks:
  • I get stuck in a black screen when entering a match
  • Voice chat breaks sometimes
  • Sometimes when a match starts, there is a lot of input delay for a few seconds
  • Some maps have areas where it's easy to clip through the walls (e.g. Chasm)
  • Sometimes players couldn't join lobbies, getting a PhotonTimeout error
  • Some players receive a message that says "Error: Error" when joining rooms
  • Some players receive a message that says "Error: CustomAuthenticationFailed" when joining rooms. NOTE: This can sometimes be due to Steam's servers not responding to authorization requests, due to an error in Steam's backend. We want to implement workarounds that allow workaround this when it happens.
  • Players in Oceania, Australia, and Middle East have higher-than-normal ping
  • Mod.io login can break if it can't find the user agreement
  • Pause menu may be inaccessible on Oculus devices using PCVR link FIXED in 0.4.6
  • Unusually slow movement on Index for some users
  • Valve Index controllers need better support PARTLY FIXED in 0.4.6
  • Instances where the menu would load up completely blank FIXED in 0.4.5
  • Everything exploded/disappeared in my match, and a loud buzzing sound plays FIXED in 0.4.5 and 0.4.7
  • Lag spikes when effects are spawned in for the first time FIXED in 0.4.5
  • Sometimes when a lobby is made, it shows up uninitialized, with the room code as ABCD and overlapping UI FIXED in 0.4.5
  • The game fails to boot on my laptop. FIXED in 0.4.3: This was due to incompatibility with integrated GPUs.

Me also. Waste of $25 for an unplayable game

Unfortunately there's been issues with Steam authentication on Valve's end, we're working to implement workarounds to solve this in the future. For now, best to just keep trying :/

Hello, what about black screens? In my case, something slightly different happens, namely the picture simply freezes and I can’t do anything (this happens almost immediately after entering the match), after which my friend is kicked out of the session. Perhaps this is what you called a black screen, but I would like to know if there is a solution to this problem.

i cant change the open xr runtime to oculus it just sets it to meta quest something and game still wont let me play in vr can you fix plz

has anyone else had the problem of the game crashing within seconds of starting a match, as well as the giant player just being unable to change some of the options? I really wanted to play this with a friend, but it crashes every time we try to play.

I don't know why, but I cannot use the grappling hook with my xbox controller.. The game recognizes the LT button (as I can press it to swap between observer/knight) but in game it does not work..?

The knight has to disable thje family sharing, just go to steam options, and change the steam families beta back to the normal steam and it will work

The solution is for the owner of the game to mark it as private so it is not shared in the family group.
There seems to be no option to invert y axis for mouse in game?
Inverting Y for controller doesn't work, game stays non inverted anyway.

When trying to join private game from PC screen just goes black and plays background sounds but doesn't move.

Hi, My friends and I have a Steam Family Group so we need 3 copies of the Knight's Pass, and can't seem to download it since I have the full game, any way to fix this?

when i launch the game in steam link it only launches in flatscreen
so far ive:
ran as administrator
changed runtime to steam vr
uninstalled and reinstalled

i use an omen 40l pc with 2 terabytes of space, i also use a quest 2
plz help
i want to download maps but after i put my email in it says Unable to retrieve terms of use from ModIO. Api failed to complete the request" i have looked things up, i have restarted, uninstalled the game and reinstalled it but nothing works. if anyone could help that would be great 👍
