Yes, there is some autoaim for the giant. The devs have mentioned that they did amp it up especially for the first open alpha build so people could pretty easily hit things even if they were newish to vr and they wouldn't get frusterated with not being able to hit anything because it is really hard to hit things without it. (For example try hitting a specific part of a tree, then after imagine how hard it would be when the tree was moving, and if there were 3 of them going after you)
Most likely in my opinion I would take a bet it wont be as intense as it is right now in future builds, but we never know for sure until the devs eventually get to it.
My suggestion for the warriors is to not try not to really be in the air as much, especially if there is only 1 warrior. When they are recovering it is pretty importaint to try and stay low. and eventually it's also possible to be able to avoid things by just learning how the autoaim works
