The game is really linear in regards of the story and that is one of the things that you can't change, unfortunately.

Kinda odd that a game seemingly all about choice doesn't let you choose not to sell out your own daughter...

It honestly didn't make ANY sense to me that Lorsulia went with him after he withdrew the army.

It's like EITHER we keep the Army and Lorsulia leaves OR the Army leaves and Lorsulia stays.

Even in historic events, the host isn't the one immediately to blame for any assassinations, generally every King at a summit will have their own protections. Absolutely baffling and illogical.

would've stabbed the mf right there right then, up the wall after I see the bruises on her neck either that or he won't see her face anymore, he wants war anyway better I start it

I was just about to do another play to do this. It's very disappointing that in a game about choices your forced to follow the story. What's the point.

same bro.
We need mods that'll allow us to save her and kick Ivos ass more
I hope in the second game their making we get more choice
Also I demand to be a gay king I wished I could date my advisor or stan would also be cool if we could switch to son heir and have a king mode and then Prince mode where you could explore the kingdom more directly cause that also sucked that I heard about what my daughter did but never got to go out and witness much of what I was helping with .

You had around 100 soldiers. His army was so much stronger - if you had really said no, he could just have taken her and immediately turned his army on your kingdom and probably had his men already inside your walls...

The host is the one most responsible for everything as he provides the ground for the meeting and the poisoning happened in his castle and involved some of his servants.

Medieval justice was in no way like ours today. Even the old roman assumption that no one is guilty until proven otherwise (In dubio pro reo) is not used in all of Europe. In some instances you were guiltiy until you managed to prove otherwise.
