Game stuck on loading

Cant get past the first loading screen after launching the game. Heck aint even hit the main menu. Playing through xbox game pass for pc if that makes a difference

I'm having a similar issue. After launching the game and clicking New Game it gets stuck in the message related to it's difficulty.

Browsing through the options menu it's clear that it's a resolution issue. Sadly, there's no way to change it in game.

I'm using an ultrawide monitor and also playing on xbox game pass for pc.

The game doesn't work on the ultrawide monitor. Same issue. There is a fix for steam version but I can't find any launch option on Game Pass app.

im not using an ultra wide monitor. I cant even get to the menu to click options. It just loads forever

I have the same issue as the OP and in the options you cant see an option to change the resolution

Very frustrating.. at least let us change our res to something lower :/

Oh hey, found a fix actually.

Hold down shift before starting up the game. You should get a window with some options to start the game in a different res :) Very nifty.

Hey there! Easy fix for now: Hold ALT while you boot the game, and pick a non-ultrawide resolution

Every time I've tried to load a game it won't even get into the main screen, I can only hear music

Hold ALT and start the Game does not work for me. After klicking on Start in Steam Menu or clicking on the Game Icon on Desktop the screen went black and Game crashes to task bar. After that i have to close the Game with the task manager. Please fix

This -screen-fullscreen 0 -screen-width 1920 -screen-height 1080
is also not working. Game starts in Window Mode an then immediatly crashes to task bar

Same here. I think the 2h20 update for Win 10 broke something, sicne the game used to work before. Game Pass version.
