Similarity to,or modern version of "Sort the Court"???
Just wondering if anyone knows why this seems to be an advanced/modern version of "Sort The Court". Which, was released sometime around 2017 or so & is now "abandonware"(it may have been a flash game, can't remember)...

Is it based upon it or something? There seems to be no mention of the predecessor that "StC" looks to have been. Also, the developer(s) of "StC" always claimed the game was incomplete & they were intending to add more to it (they never did tho)...

Just curious if anyone else remembers that game & notices the similarities & also thinks maybe this is intended to be the "complete" version that "StC" never became(or whatever),as I do...

If this was the same developer,I would think there would be some mention of all this...

Just 2 be clear tho,I'm REALLY glad someone made a more in-depth ver. of that game(I always thought it was too basic). To bad that doesn't happen to OTHER older "flash-style" games that are now "abandonware"... ; )

As far as I'm concerned,if someone abandons a game,it should be "up-for-grabs" 2 whomever will finish/expand upon the game. Lest it remain "unfinished" throughout history...

Anyway,I'm interested in thoughts on this(the similarity is striking)...

Sort The Court was a free game on Icth.io that could be played in the browser. But yeah, I saw the similarity too and thats why I got interested in it. UvU

Hey there,Thanx 4 replying! Glad 2 see I wasn't the only one who remembers that game. :)

I had forgotten it was on itch.io,actually...

As,I was on "abandonware" sites VERY heavily about that time(2017,as I mentioned above). As,I was trying 2 dwnld just about EVERY game that was a FLASH game. Since, you HAVE to be online to play those & my 'net connection was TERRIBLE back-then(didn't have a good ISP at the time). So,I was trying 2 preserve them for myself 2 play at leisure & also was aware how easily things can just become "No Longer Available" on the 'net. ESPECIALLY,FLASH games. As,it was on it's way out, even back-then(even if "Sort the Court" isn't a /true/ FLASH game,it comes across as being one)...

Not too mention,I have an OBSESSION with "permanence". Since,I've lost A LOT of files due 2 the problem with how difficult it was to PROPERLY save data in the "old" days(I've had PC's that couldn't even use Flash-Drives for saving,THAT'S how old I mean). And,had quite a few crashes where I lost EVERYTHING because of the way things were,back-then... :(

Anyway,I found the copy I dwnlded on a different site that focuses on abandonware & freeware/shareware,rather than on "itch.io". But,now that you've reminded me,I remember seeing it on "itch" sometime last year & how I had thought it quite funny it was posted on a quality-site like that one(assuming the game is still running the same version I have it as)... xD

By that,I mean the version I have crashes just about every-other in-game day(which,is/was the latest version, since the developers never fixed the crashes after 2017,I believe). So,I was just wondering; what year did you last play it & did it seem 2 crash from events every 3rd or 4th day for you,as well(seems to happen randomly for me)???

As,I played it for a little while after feeling nostalgiac from having brought it up,per the post I made(I quit after about the 4th crash). And,I can say that if it weren't for all the constant auto-saves,it would be /nearly impossible/ to play it long enough to really feel like anything was happening...

Finally,to add on to what you said: I was right-away interested in "Yes,Your Grace" because I had hoped it was a fully-completed version of it,actually. ;)

I was IMMEDIATELY hopeful it WAS "Sort the Court",in fact(I had forgotten the title since it had been so long since I last played it). THAT'S how much I was looking forward to seeing the game "improved upon" or something... :)

Anyway, srry 4 the length of this, but I'm VERY thankful you replied & it's good to hear someone else still knows of it,after all this time(if you saw it on "itch",you must've stumbled-upon it more recently than I did,it sounds).

I'm up for discussion about THAT game,if you wish/it isn't considered too off-topic 4 here...

In any case,Thanks again 4 your reply,it was much appreciated!
