I had forgotten it was on itch.io,actually...
As,I was on "abandonware" sites VERY heavily about that time(2017,as I mentioned above). As,I was trying 2 dwnld just about EVERY game that was a FLASH game. Since, you HAVE to be online to play those & my 'net connection was TERRIBLE back-then(didn't have a good ISP at the time). So,I was trying 2 preserve them for myself 2 play at leisure & also was aware how easily things can just become "No Longer Available" on the 'net. ESPECIALLY,FLASH games. As,it was on it's way out, even back-then(even if "Sort the Court" isn't a /true/ FLASH game,it comes across as being one)...
Not too mention,I have an OBSESSION with "permanence". Since,I've lost A LOT of files due 2 the problem with how difficult it was to PROPERLY save data in the "old" days(I've had PC's that couldn't even use Flash-Drives for saving,THAT'S how old I mean). And,had quite a few crashes where I lost EVERYTHING because of the way things were,back-then... :(
Anyway,I found the copy I dwnlded on a different site that focuses on abandonware & freeware/shareware,rather than on "itch.io". But,now that you've reminded me,I remember seeing it on "itch" sometime last year & how I had thought it quite funny it was posted on a quality-site like that one(assuming the game is still running the same version I have it as)... xD
By that,I mean the version I have crashes just about every-other in-game day(which,is/was the latest version, since the developers never fixed the crashes after 2017,I believe). So,I was just wondering; what year did you last play it & did it seem 2 crash from events every 3rd or 4th day for you,as well(seems to happen randomly for me)???
As,I played it for a little while after feeling nostalgiac from having brought it up,per the post I made(I quit after about the 4th crash). And,I can say that if it weren't for all the constant auto-saves,it would be /nearly impossible/ to play it long enough to really feel like anything was happening...
Finally,to add on to what you said: I was right-away interested in "Yes,Your Grace" because I had hoped it was a fully-completed version of it,actually. ;)
I was IMMEDIATELY hopeful it WAS "Sort the Court",in fact(I had forgotten the title since it had been so long since I last played it). THAT'S how much I was looking forward to seeing the game "improved upon" or something... :)
Anyway, srry 4 the length of this, but I'm VERY thankful you replied & it's good to hear someone else still knows of it,after all this time(if you saw it on "itch",you must've stumbled-upon it more recently than I did,it sounds).
I'm up for discussion about THAT game,if you wish/it isn't considered too off-topic 4 here...
In any case,Thanks again 4 your reply,it was much appreciated!
-PEACE & TakeCare :)
