Avoid marry Asalia

So, from what I've seen, there is a point in the game when you need at least 1500 mens in 20 turns to win the game. Of all the 3 lords that can give you 1000 mens each, 2 of them are mutually exclusive, and one seems like a damn bastard ready to marry a 13 years old. So my question is this: considering recruitment can only give you 200 mens at best, can you still beat the game without marrying Asalia to the damn king ?

I was able to "win" the final battle with around 1300 men I think. I helped the Redavians and did not marry the daughter off. It's definitely possible.

250 was enough for me to beat Ivo, you definitely dont have to sell your daughter away for the 1000 men

You actually don't get any of the men from the kings during the fight either way since they're supposedly reinforcements anyways, so it's only important to upgrade your castle.

I got literally 210 men and still won the siege, the most important thing in my mind is the siege upgrades tbh

I think you need at least 1 army to help in the end.

Beat their army with all castle upgrades except the moat, max supplies and 1 king's support, so yeah doesn't seem to matter too much.

the purpose is to have 1 king support and then have the ability to hold out until reinforcement arrive.

The enemy army enters the castle and slaughters everyone. Pretty much the same as when you raise the white flag at the start of the game.

You can beat the game easily without marrying her off but her ending is just as disappointing

in the end i had two kings help
i am sure you only need 1 to beat the game tho
so go for your best life ending lol

had 400+ men no support from any of the late kings still beat Ivo my fave ending. Had to let the dope selling lord do his business but hey.
