Resolution bug report

Hello guys, I'm loving the game so far! Alas, I bumped into a bug that made it kinda unplayable.

So I'm playing on Mac via the Parallels app. So, what happened is, the email app popped out of nowhere (a common Mac Catalina problem) and it f-ed up the game's resolution. Moreover, I noticed some letters disappearing and I also cannot interact with characters because of that. The main menu gives me only one resolution option, so there seems to be no way of fixing this in game. I tried reinstalling, but the problem persisted.
