Windows 10 Game won't start!

At first it wouldn't even start at all when I clicked play, so I tried turning Off DEP (Data Execution Prevention) for the game.exe, and although it did make it run, I was immediately met with an error message saying: 'Game cannont start. Please check your video adaptors.' I am at a complete loss now, what am I missing here? Do I need a special kind of software to play this old-♥♥♥ game?

So,UPDATE Leaving this here in the rare chance that someone will have the same problem.
I solved my problem after going to my Radeon Software control panel and enabling GPU Scaling, after that the game runs fine. My problem seemed somewhat specific since I found no one pointing to this solution, so if anyone else finds themselves with the same problem, I hope this helps you out!

im having the same problem but i turned on gpu scaling and it still isnt launching. is there somthinjg i might have missed?

Hi fabby, I would recommend turning it off because old games don’t like gpu scaling and use my guide if it’s still causing you problems. If my guide doesn’t work then let me know. Have a good night.
