Stuck, probably a bug

Still in the first part of the game, stuck in the corridor with suit of armour and cannot collect the black powder on the door frame, even when holding tape measure. It only makes me go through the door, this is infuriating

Well, if it is the black powder on the door frame, when you have the tape measure out, try to see if the hand cursor changes direction when you pass it on or around the the stain of black powder. If it is the case, it should work, but I admit it can be very tricky.

I just figured this out myself. You have to set the graphics to as low as possible in the settings or else you can't click on the black powder without clicking the door

No, you can do it, but it's in a weird spot, kinda outside the door frame
