Valve Index controllers not working
It's not a hardware issue, it's not a runtime issue, etc. since this is literally the only program where they don't work.

i haven't had any issues with index controllers myself.... perhaps something in the settings is wrong... when you loaded up Play's for the first time did the program run the config window for you to select controllers? and did you select those controllers?

Probably, because they worked for a time, then stopped working. Then they'll work again once, and stop working again.

Hey,

It looks like the input profile has been set up incorrectly or wasn't set up at all. If your controller is not detected, you should see a pink dot in the middle of the display. Point this dot by moving your head at any button and holding it there for a few seconds to trigger an auto-click. You can use this method to navigate within the app without controllers.

Please go to Settings > Input > Run Configuration. The System Configuration Wizard will appear, allowing you to choose your type of controller.

Please inform us if this resolves the problem.

If your software is literally the only place where my controllers don't work, then the issue isn't with my "profile," it's clearly with your software.

Hello,

As mentioned, the issue may be with the input profile in the PLAY'A app. Have you tried the steps provided above?

I'm having the same issue. I run the configuration and choose Valve Index and then no method of control works. The Valve controllers don't work. Eye clicks don't work. Mouse clicks don't work. I'm forced to exit the app and try again.

Got the same issues. All the "tipps" of the devs did not help. Controllers work on EVERY other VR app.

We’ll fix this as soon as possible.
