Using Sharp Arrows?!?

Is there a way to actually equip Sharp Arrows, now that I'm able to make some? I keep getting an error that I cannot use them with my current weapon or some such. How do I use these arrows, if I already have a number of simple arrows?

Well, I do not know how to write this in English normally, so sorry if you don't understand.
You need to place arrows you want to use before all other arrows inside your inventory and then shoot once.

Just rearrange your inventory and put the sharp arrows at the left of the simple arrows.

Yeah the way arrows are handled is pretty stupid. They need to change it so they're equipped in the secondary slot beside the bow similar to how you can equip a shield or torch with a weapon.
