Level 46 4/1/1/1 Strength/Agility/Intellect/Charisma Build
Wanted to share my build based on 4/1/1/1 stat distirbution for which seems to be working best for me, so that maybe some more experienced folks can let me know if there are things worth changing. I switched from a two handed whirlwind build since I was noticing the damage wasn't scaling so well with other level mobs. I also play on the hardest difficulty so maybe things may differ (prioritize stunning enemies and not getting hit more than dealing slow heavy swings).

Gear Priorities [\h1]:
Priority One [\b]: +% Melee Damage/to all Damage
Priority Two [\b]: +%Critical Strike Change
Priority Three [\b]: +% attack and cast speed

Movesets/Rotation[\h1]:
Spam as many attacks as possible so to stagger enemies and stun then with stun attack. Two-handed whirlwind setup is @$$ because whirlwind does not seem to stagger as much as other attacks and can also leave you vulnerable and flat footed i.e. poor mobility.

Hotbar [\b]:
Blood element 2: main way to get back health without having to equip heavier armor that slows you down.
Warscream (2): More damage, also staggers
Defensive Stance level 3: Some enemies have really fast attacks so its useful to have to avoid getting one shotted
Stun: cc and also is almost an instant swing, and recovery time is very small so a good dps boost

Not so important:
Encouraging Speech level 2: more health and armor
Mad attacks: way to recover health in case you are one on one

Passives :

First: Melee Damage, One Handed, Piercing Strike, and Fencing, Rage

Mastery Skill: Dual Wielding

Second: Apply poison (more damage), pressure (reduce damage),Execute,Dodge, Critical Strike, Angry Strike

Mastery Skill: Killing Frenzy

Gear [\h1]:

New gear is constantly being added, but the BiS (best in slot), at least from what I have seen, are dual wielding the Skinner, with deadly poison, damage enchantment, and blacksmithing improvement. This will yield: +16 damage, +10% to all damage, deadly poison.

DPS is 828 (on character screen) at level 46. Im curious to see how this stacks up against other builds people are doing- most likely it has nothing on Magic builds but maybe it tops melee only ones.

Wish I could be of more help but is the 1 in CHA for Rep gains? Wait. Is it for that speech buff?

I have a 3 str 0 dex 4 int 0 cha elemental/arcane mage at level 50. I'm using the red silk set with the plate helmet, patched, enhanced, embroidered and whatnot.

The character sheet says I do 47 dps.

Mage DPS is very burst. I can single target nuke for 1000 (2000+ crit), but I cannot sustain that infinitely. I can also get a damage over time stacked with that for around 1000 a tick on a good crit. I estimate I can do about 3000 dps to a single target in a setup -> snipe situation.

Most of this stuff is AOE too, so a 1k DOT that hits 5 targets is doing mega damage, and it's hard to calculate the AOE potential but it's quite high. If I get a good crit streak (41%) on an AOE it goes like 1K fire Dot, 1K+ fire tornado, wind tornado (pulls them all together), and 4k chain lightning. I also can open with two chain lightnings, and I had one crit an enemy for 8k a few min ago basically atomizing it.

Once the ability to sustain mega damage is gone, my single target goes down to a little over 400 damage / cast with a 220ish / tick DOT. The build is older from when Absorb Element was in the game, and If i could do it again I would move the str to dex.

I'm just playing on the default difficulty, so the player does 50% less damage on the hard difficulty.

I made a quick vid killing some zombies in the laziest way I could think of. I didn't have any milk handy so I could not really go beast on them. I could probably get some milk and do better:

Its actually because I started playing when you couldn't do 0 stat builds, i.e. the minimum stat value was 1. But I did not know there was a rep bonus from charisma!

I think you can definitely crit more than my character, but yeah for sustainability warriors (at least my build) takes the cake. What about single target? I can also upload some videos. I noticed also if I put on amulet of killing frenzy my DPS goes up to 1584.

And yeah the only reason I put up the character sheet dps because my main attacks are weapon swings which with two axes you can pretty much hit everything in a 150 degree arc.

How about against the poisonous dungeon wrath boss? How long does it take you to kill him?
angrytrex Jul 11, 2021 @ 5:20am
I could not complete that dungeon because one of the items to open the door bugged through the floor and I haven't been able to free it.

I think i remember that dungeon being weirdly difficult because everything had ranged attacks and would not herd. I also find it interesting it gives me such a low sheet DPS of 47, but that' must be based off the melee damage of the staff.

Single Target damage depends a lot on what you want to do. Assuming all equipment and what not is available, low end single target is about 1000-2000 per lightning DD with a 250-1000/tick stacked Damage over time running concurrently... or just like in the video you can just be epic super lazy and chain lightning x2 singles as well. Two good consecutive crits on chain lightning can burst for around 14k in 2 castings, and a single crit can kill things like the swamp snakes / zombies in 1 hit. Remove 50% to scale to your difficulty.

I'm hoping there's some level 50 or even level 60+ things coming

"But I did not know there was a rep bonus from charisma." Well...yeah. I knew that. That is why I posted it....to...uh...help.

That is my story and I am sticking to it.
