Red Edges Around Screen

I'm enjoying the game immensely so far, but for some reason, I have these red glowing beams around the edge of my screen, no matter what I'm doing. I thought I was low health, but my health is max.

I don't have any stances or abilities turned on that would remotely cause the red edges. I have a melee passive called Rend, but I can't imagine that would cause it.

I can post a screenshot later if it would help figure out what's causing this thing.

So, for anyone experiencing this problem, restarting the game fixes it. I have zero idea what causes it, as I never noticed it start.

I run the highest graphics settings, i.e. everything is maxed out.
