It's the one in the western part of the map, so... name checks out I guess.
I also tried more races from Black Lotus, using the achievement Diablo GTR, and I also can't beat those races anymore. And those were the normal races, not the Elite ones.
Game needs a difficulty slider. I found the AI challenging enough before the update, but now... straight up not having any fun at this point.
370Z and Diablo are not competitive cars.
Try following cars, for any class:
FK8 Civic
Golf GTI
Honda NSX
R35/R34/R32 GTR (T)
S15 Silvia with NA SR-20
S13 Silvia
180SX with SR-20
911 GT3 with SR-20
Supra MK5
BMW M4 F82
TT RS
Those are all good cars, that perform well even online or in TA.
If I was racing players, sure, I could see using only the best cars. This is AI, I should be able to use whatever I feel like. Plain & simple.
Not competetive is one thing, but I feel like any car should be able to get you through a game's main campaign. If a car is absolute dogpoo for online... well, fine by me. I am used to the cars I like being actual hot garbo.
But the fact that the cars I could use before the update now can't even net me a second place... I dunno, I see a flaw in the "improvements" to the AI in that case.
None of those are appealing to me in any way, except for NSX and FK8 Civic (though the Civic is a bit of a stretch already).
Plenty of racing games are unbeatable with wrong cars. ProStreet is a fine example. You can just ruin yourself inversting in a bad car. You won't stand a chance against Rudi Chen. 370Z can be decently setup.
Personally I think every game should be beatable with any car. If the game gets harder due to the choice made, fine, but a game becoming unbeatable due to the wrong car is just bad.
As I said in another thread, having a difficulty option would be the best solution IMO.
This AI needs some change like their apparent weight is way higher than mine, if thei give me a touch i fly away and if i try to ram tham is like to hit a bus with a fiat 500. But the worst is that sometime a AI car pops up from hell jus to dstroy my car
