I'm getting 65-80 FPS at 2K resolution on a LENOVO Legion 7i Pro laptop with 24 cores i9 13900 CPU, RTX 4090 16 GB and 64 GB RAM, while God of War Ragnarok is running on 120+ FPS. This game is coming from iPad for God's sake, the Devs should learn to optimize their game. With this graphics, the game should run with smooth 60 FPS on ROG Ally X. But guess what. it doesn't even run on 30 FPS. All other aspects of the game is kinda Ok. But it's very badly optimized. How many patches I have to wait for until we get some improvement?

Keep in mind that the PC and cell phone game are worked differently, the PC game was really so late because they stopped it to continue developing the mobile version, so technically the mobile version is a port of the PC version As for performance, all those who use Nvidia check out their new Nvidia app, since according to themselves there are performance problems in different games, uninstall them or reinstall the drivers. So remember that Carxtech has it more difficult because Nvidia or Amd, or Intel will not release a driver update to optimize the game as they would do with other AAA, unfortunate but Carxstreet is a niche AA game, on the other hand, I personally am playing between 110 and 144 fps (capped) on a pc with: Ryzen 5700x3d, 32gb ddr4 3200mhz, rx 7800xt, 1440p

Dear AegonRD, I would happily accept your explanation if I didn't see that the game is running all 24 cores of my CPU at 80%, while the GPU load stays below 40%. To me, this seems like a seriously unoptimized game. You've also said that the mobile version is a port of the PC version, so shouldn't it run better on PC? But okay, I agree that we shouldn't compare the mobile and PC versions.
The fact that Nvidia doesn't optimize their drivers for games is not entirely true, although I admit that they don't put much effort into it either, but since the game was released in August, the developers should have time to solved these serious optimization problems. And believe me, I'm not criticizing other aspects of the game, I'm completely satisfied with them. All I'm saying is that this game really shouldn't run like this. Playable? Yes. Enjoyable? Yes. But that still doesn't make it anywhere near optimal.

I think switching from fullscreen to borderless window helps a lot. At least in my case did

Dear Aegon. I'm running a 6700xt in low graphics and I'm not even capable of getting even stable 60.

The game does NEED the optimization.

For a game running on a phone, the polygon count is not important. A more powerful computer cannot give you more performance. The main problem here is memory. As you speed up with the car, the memory transfer becomes too high and small freezes occur. These are basically load times. So it doesn't matter how many fps the game gives. You need high frequency ram memory and a faster m2 ssd. Especially after the snowfall effect, the game became unplayable for me. I don't think the developer knows optimization techniques like Baked GI , Vertex Compression , GPU Instancing. :steamfacepalm:

Thanks for the technical explanations !!
