Front brake balance percent
The higher this value.. the more brakes are to the front.

It is not the left side is the front and the right side is the rear.

Higher percentage equals more front brakes. (Understeer)
Lower percentage equals more rear brakes. (Overseer)

If you want to turn while you brake. lower percentage is better....

you want brakes to be biased to the front, handbrake isn't affected by this. You want to be able to scrub speed left foot braking without locking up the rear tires. For drifting at least

putting brakes to the front enables front wheel oversteer during cornering when double footing.

idk who told you it made it understeer, but it sounds like your suspension isn't stiff enough in the front if you're understeering from front wheel braking as it should do the opposite.

if the springs in the front aren't stiff enough, they can bottom out and cause understeer, and braking hard with front brakes makes the weight transfer to the front springs, ergo it wasn't the brakes that made you understeer, most likely your suspension setup.

two stepping should increase your angle around corners, not lessen it, if it lessens it it is clearly an issue with suspension not the brakes.

I want to increase it to 75-80% for drifting and allow lower brake pressure. This will make drifting feel more like carx drift racing!

Someone needs to create a guide that is just a simple list on the best settings for drift and grip

Someone needs to do all the work for me so I can just drive my car good and not spend a minute of testing myself because my time is more valuable than yours.

FTFY

you mean like the guides that exist in previous games that give you a basic understanding of how suspension settings work like how stiffer springs increase steering response?

toe in increases straight line grip, (that's positive btw,) and toe out increases cornering grip, (toe out on front and toe in on rear is how pro drifters tune it up,)

remove the stabilizer from the front of your suspension, they do this irl as well because they don't want the anti roll bar effecting the cornering grip, it even explains that too much stiffness in the front stabilizer will negatively affect cornering in the info on stabilizers when you install them on this game

no stabilizer in front, stiff stabilizer in rear is how you tune for drifting so the rear stabilizer pushes the force back onto the front wheels.

as for stiffness settings, front should always be around 3x stiffer or more than the rear. - if it looks wonky, remember you can cut your springs shorter and lengthen them, that is the purpose of the mechanic.

you want the rear to float on soft springs as the front takes all the blows from the road and transfers it to your angle.

and then there's camber and ackerman and caster, those three tunes essentially dictate the control over your angle, they are the ones you fine tune yourself to the car specifically because each car behaves differently. - note: the reason i say fine tune yourself is because the handling is subjective with ackerman, and not only that but it performs differently on a wheel than it does with controller, people with wheel sometimes will play with zero ackerman whatsoever, or 100% when people with controller in my experience like it around 40-50%

and then finally, use street tires for drifting only.

all of this i learned myself from both real life tuning and from tuning games like gran turismo and nfsu2, and yes the tuning i stated is legit something that is used irl, and transfers to other games as well.

Maximizing oversteer without having the back end fishtail? How??

by tuning the ackerman and caster along with camber so that the car gains control during oversteering.

The back end is still wanting to drift... I went to remove it completely

The beta update 1.06 fixes the tires not gripping the road
