Matter of fact, you can't even buy the Sunset Speedway DLC yet.
It is now clearly visible that the sunset speedway is no longer part of the deluxe edition. At the same time, I'm like 99,9% sure it was on the day I purchased it but I can no longer deliver any proof for that as even the purchase history on steam now mentiones current prices.
I mean there has to be a reason why so many people believe they should own this DLC. Either they changed it or they managed to trick you into thinking you would purchase both of them.
It's scummy either way.
Yeah, if a big chunk of the community is believing they have bought a DLC that they apparently didn't buy, which I've never heard of in any other steam game, then there's reason to believe that users were tricked into thinking they do unless they might check very carefully.
I honestly could also not think of any other reason why you would advertise a DLC on your buying page on day one that is not being delivered for at least several more months.
I'm not saying part of the error isn't on my side but if you're trying to tell me that these devs aren't questionable, you're a shill.
No microtransactions - provide 2$ DLC on day one including 6 cars, announcing an unfinished DLC with a single fkn track for the future.
We combat dishonest players - continues to ignore the rampant cheating in this game and punishes modders for using assets in the game they planned to charge you for in the future
Community Management - non existent but OP of the sticky posts has their profile filled with cheater comments. At least we have a sticky for "Your questions" out of which no question will ever be answered.
I have fun playing this game and I appreciate some of the quick responses in terms of updates to minor adjustments like rewards but when breaking it down 80% of it comes down to reward adjustment which was the absolute minimum the community required to keep playing the game.
Cheating is about to kill the online part of this game (which was empty to begin with) for good and at the very moment literally nothing is being done about it.
And another thing: This game was sold and advertised as an 1.0. And it doesn't even matter if I have fun playing it or not but NOT sellings this game as an early access title just makes the state of modern game developement way worse than it already is.
Calling this a full release is at least questionable, if not, scummy.
Although the game runs very well for me now I hope we get more optimisation patches before they start pushing DLC on us, a lot of people still have issues running the game well. There are also QOL fixes needing to be implemented as well.
Btw Sunset Speedway is currently being built in the top North-East part of the map, so it makes no sense to sell DLC with a racing track that is not available yet.
Looking forward to the track but I would prefer them making use of whats available instead. Multiplayer events tracks cover the least exciting parts of the map ond probably only 20% of it. Drifting events would be great as well as drag and even fun modes like marked man, capture the flag and something like that. As of now 2% of the playerbase is making use of online events which is what the achievements show. On top comes rampant cheating so I'm not too sure if adding this track through a DLC anytime soon would change anything for the better.
Buy CarX Street - Deluxe edition
Includes 2 items: CarX Street - Deluxe Cars, CarX Street
IDK how to confirm this was always the case though, but that's what my purchase history says:
Purchased: Sep 7 @ 3:08pm
CarX Street - Deluxe Cars - CDN$ 11.77
CarX Street - CDN$ 20.95
Subtotal CDN$ 41.38
Discount CDN$ -12.42 (-30%)
HST CDN$ 3.76
Total CDN$ 32.72
And yeah, I remember the Sunset Speedway DLC to be part of the Deluxe as well and coming at a later date.
