400kmh quest

what is this best car for the 400kmh quest?

Ok guys I reached 400+ with R35!

418 in RWD
412 in AWD

How to do:

1. Max out the stock engine

2. Swap gearbox to the T50S with this tune:
- Final drive 3.22
- 1st 3.3
- 2nd 2.05
-3rd 1.56
-4th 1.25
-5th 1
-6th 0.76
-Reverse gear don't touch

Obviously at minimum transmission losses and gear speed

3. Weight and center of mass height at minimum.

4. Downforce front and rear at max, air resistance at minimum.

5. Tires with max pression.

I think that could be optimize to be faster, but for guys who want to unlock the trophy, that's perfect ;)

sharing my failed attempt

i bought the CC7 because it seemed like it had a good base to start with and i wouldn't need to swap the engine or anything, also because i barely have any gold and dint wanna spend it or grind 50 hours to upgrade 1 part.

anyway i maxed most stuff with the max money purchasable upgrades (racing for engine, ultimate transmission, elite weight reduction/aero. I didnt max the suspension stuff).

also i didn't realise that some tuning stuff takes streetcoin/gold until afterwards because my AMD overlay was blocking the cost, and i thought it all costed only cash :(

top speed in the menu says 336kmh. after trying down the highway with nitro and slight downhill, the max speed i got is 370kmh. honestly not even sure if it will reach 400kmh with a transmission swap and maxed out engine. the stock trans has 8 gears but the last 2 gears are pretty useless even after i messed around with the ratios, might be skill issue though

now im broke and no achievement :(

I just made a corvette and I reached 413km/h, but unfortunatly if you cant buy every ultimate parts and tunes, that will be hard man… 😔

I made also a BM M90 and I reached 416km/h

And a last thing, I saw that sport fuel makes me faster, I don’t know if it’s true but I felt more power

i swapped to the 6 speed which gave me an extra 8kmh so 378kmh max. then i tried sport fuel because i forgot about that since the normal fuel is so much cheaper and i went 395kmh...

definitely doable now lol ill try a couple more runs see if i can cheese it

Nice dude! Where do you do your run? I suggest you to go at the gas station on the north east of your map, you have 2 gas stations on the same spot, start here and continue on the highway to the south , it's here I do my "speed runs" because no turns during a long time

And yes for me the best gearbox is the T50S 6 gears

yep that's where i do it too, though i start a bit further back at the flower field just before the tunnel. all the way until slightly after the 2nd bridge. i will go on the left/wrong lane as there is a bigger downhill right after the middle of the 2nd bridge, whereas the right lane doesnt go down as much,

after trying genuinely for 2 hours and spending 4 full tanks of sport fuel and 1 and a half set of racing+ tyres, i finally got the achievement. i had to reduce more weight (about 40kg) and actually decrease downforce instead of increasing. then it was just messing with gear ratios (mainly final drive and 6th gear) and trying to see whatever works.

also you need at least 401kmh for the achievement. 400 wont give you it.

the achievement car kinda sucks. understeers like crazy by default. its really heavy to turn too on my wheel.

Yes I agree, the left side of the road is better to have a big lane! But congrats for the achievement 🥂

I understand and agree, but another time tunes and wheels are very important, you can counter the understeers and turn more

But it’s a bit long to tell you everything, you can find very nice tips on YouTube, even if it’s the mobile version 😉

Congrats mate! Currently my fastest car is the R8, I reached 424 km/h full nos (even if it’s not very powerful this nitro) 😄
