The game isnt optimized that well imho.
Peoples expectations are wild.
What's stupid about it? That the 4070 is midrange? It literally is. It's a 70 class GPU.
That hitting 60fps is acceptable on a midrange GPU? It is.
We don't know the resolution, we don't know the rest of the hardware.
On my back up pc I play on 1600x900 ( instead of the native 1080p) which boosts the fps from around 30-40 to 50-60.
I also tried lowering settings from ultra ro high, which gave me a fps boost of roughly 3 give or take a few. and putting it down to medium gives a boost of around 10FPS but it makes a lot of graphics glitch for some reason, so that is unusable.
on my current rig I have a 4060, I play on 1080P ultra and get about 60 fps last time I checked, this is terrible performance, but it is playable at least. I think last update changed it, but i haven't bothered to check since I was already getting 60 at least and it has not gotten worse and the game play is good, so I can live with it. but basically if you lower your resolution to 1080p, you should be able to run everything at ultra.
That just shows how wrong players expectations have gotten.
No, a midrange GPU should aim for 60fps high in titles released around the same time.
That's the point of midrange.
Anything over that is a bonus.
Every other game maxed out 200 fps easy, Red Dead 2, NFS unbound.
