Old Deluxe edition owners not getting the new dlc

Not for nothing, but I think the old deluxe edition owners should also get the new DLC.

The standard version is 15 GBP, its 16 GBP for deluxe. i didnt realise this until after i had already purchased the standard version. Can i upgrade to deluxe for 1 GBP? Nope it costs 7 GBP for me to get the deluxe cars. They arent going to give away DLC at that price.

Honestly if their plan is to update the Deluxe edition bundle whenever they release new content, then they should convert it to a Steam "Complete the Bundle" rather than being a version of the game outright. That way players who own everything else other than the latest pack can also get the 30% discount which would be fair to everyone.

Really pissed that new Deluxe owners get the new cars for 'free' but existing Deluxe Edition owners that backed the game earlier in a more broken state don't get them. Devs are ignoring comments about it on the update thread, just like they always do.

The Deluxe edition now includes the drift cars. You can see it on the store page.

yeah this is messed up, if we bought the deluxe edition it was specifically so that we could get all the included DLC.

adding more to it and giving it to people who purchase the same package but not giving it to people who already owned the package is bullcrap, especially when some of us bought it at the full price and not at a discount which is the current price of the full package.

as in i already bought deluxe for 25 bucks, it is now saying i don't own the deluxe version and i can buy it again.

steam is supposed to have rules against that, i can literally prove i bought deluxe edition in my purchase history but it's trying to sell it again to me.

this is like what EFT did when they changed their product information and everyone who bought EOD version ended up getting pissed because it said they get access to everything and then BSG changed it to say they had to buy arena and the single player version.

Steam bundles being updated with new content isn't against the rules.. The pack now costs more than it did back when we bought it. You can buy the DLC seperately.

i paid 25.87 plus tax for the deluxe version when the game was released, it was not on sale when i bought it.

and again, it is in fact against the rules to give people separate packages when they buy the same packages, people buying the deluxe version right now are getting the full version with all the DLC, when those of us who bought it before are not even though deluxe literally says it gives access to all DLC.

yeah and when i read into the "deluxe cars" dlc that came with the pack it literally says "access to all future carx street DLC" in it, so yes this is in fact against the rules.

everyone who bought deluxe version is entitled to the deluxe cars and future DLC, that's literally what the pack promised.

again i say: this is literally what BSG did when they dropped their 250 dollar package that had offline mode, everyone who owned EOD version was promised all future DLC in writing, and then BSG deleted said writing and rewrote their TOS so they could do exactly this.

that almost shut BSG down, they had to go back and give the DLC to the EOD users for free when literally thousands spent 250 dollars more just to get access and now can't refund it.

this is why BSG lost all of their following and why people don't talk about tarkov as much anymore, people felt scammed, (because they were literally scammed,)

No, it isn't. Deluxe was a dollar more that the base game. before the drift cars were added.

But is it not scummy? Lot of players complained about drifting not being available from the start. You need at least 26 street coin and a certain lvl to be able to buy the correct suspension etc.
Why did they not just let us choose a racing/drifting/drag/cut up character or something. Everyone picks their own first car, but they are all crap for drifting.
Now, you pay real money and can drift right from the start.. Like they make the game with some shortcomings just to be able make us pay for them later.
I'm not being tinfoil hat guy and ssaying stuff like 'next up, traffic DLC'. But it's kinda weird to me.
Then there is the fact that I assumed I bought special edition to receive more content for a set price. Now the price is different and the content of the DLC is too.

This doesnt change how much I enjoy the game but I guess I'm no longer paying any real money towards this game.
