Legally they can't do that without paying thousands for branding rights, and in order to do that, they'd have to remove every BMW inspired car from the game because BMW has an exclusive deal with EA/Need For Speed.

you just used a company w a billion dollar backing from microsoft . ofc they can pay for brands of cars . if carx tech had enough money to pay for brands/manufacturers then the game would be out by now .
