Why was the game taken off steam?

Why was the game taken down? I get there is a remastered version but what if you'd like to experience both games perspectives. dose anyone know the answer?

I would assume because the remastered version is out. I think people who buy the remastered version should be given the original version for free (just like they gave the people who owned the original a free remastered copy)

But if people still want to get the original, they would have to get the game here

Edit: It's common for old/original versions to be delisted with them having better/updated versions out there.
