Limited to 1080p and locked 60FPS? Why?
I hope that both will be unlocked on release otherwise this will be a "no buy" from me.

It's a demo we don't know yet... and don't buy it if you don't want why should we care about that ?

It is weird, hopefully it's unlocked in the final game.

Let me quote myself here "I hope that both will be unlocked on release"
I know it's a demo and that it does not fully represent the released game. But I have negative thoughts about the demo, so I put them here.

I can give that right back. Why comment, if you don't care about my comment? Like, this is a way I can give feedback to the devs and voice concerns that influence my decision to buy this game. It's not just a place to discuss problems with community members.

Yes, but it still stutters on screens that aren't operating on multiples of 60. So on a 144Hz screen it looks worse than it needs to, while the 60FPS lock provides no benefit to the game.

Looks completely fine on my 144Hz display~ I always have Adaptive / Free Sync turned On though.
I do think that they should at least build in some type of upscaling tech like FSR + Adaptive Sharpening for those 4k displays - without the need to redo the assets. And 90% of people wouldn't even notice that it's not native anyway.

Looks alright on my Predator, but why so low resolution in a card game?? Hope they do ultra wide options, not so much bothered about 144 Hz, but would be nice also...

Just to be picky but Voice of Cards is not a card game it's a game with cards. The card aspect is a purely a cosmetic choice. Steamworld quest is a card game, Monster Train is a card game, Hand of Fate is a deckbuilding game. Voice of Cards are neither a card game nor a deckbuilding game for what we saw in the demo.

Please give us 1000 fps, so the menu gets more smooth.
Otherwise I can't enjoy the game.
Higher resolutions and FPS values would be nice for me too, but it's not a deal breaker for me. I think the game will be perfectly fun regardless of their addition.

I don't care about the locked fps but the resolution is a big problem for me . I have a 4K monitor and games that run lower than that looks so ♥♥♥♥ and blurry that I can't properly enjoy them . I want to believe that they will add bigger resolutions when the full game launches because I really like the game which was made by some of my favorite game creators

Look into enabling Integer Scaling in your GPU driver settings. It should make full screen 1080p stuff look way better than without it when stretched to 4K. I still of course think they need to up the res of this game on PC but this is at least something to try.

Honestly, it's really stupid.
JRPG should be the first games to have 120+ fps. They are often menu-based and menus feel much better than anything else with the highest fps you can get...

And here I was going to say "why do you need more FPS for something as slow as a turn-based JRPG. . . :D

I agree, the order of fps priority should be...
jrpg press start screens > jrpg in-game menus > hidden object games > text based adventures > board games > rts > fps > 1v1 fighting games > rhythm games
