Let me quote myself here "I hope that both will be unlocked on release"
I know it's a demo and that it does not fully represent the released game. But I have negative thoughts about the demo, so I put them here.
I can give that right back. Why comment, if you don't care about my comment? Like, this is a way I can give feedback to the devs and voice concerns that influence my decision to buy this game. It's not just a place to discuss problems with community members.
I do think that they should at least build in some type of upscaling tech like FSR + Adaptive Sharpening for those 4k displays - without the need to redo the assets. And 90% of people wouldn't even notice that it's not native anyway.
Just to be picky but Voice of Cards is not a card game it's a game with cards. The card aspect is a purely a cosmetic choice. Steamworld quest is a card game, Monster Train is a card game, Hand of Fate is a deckbuilding game. Voice of Cards are neither a card game nor a deckbuilding game for what we saw in the demo.
Otherwise I can't enjoy the game.
Look into enabling Integer Scaling in your GPU driver settings. It should make full screen 1080p stuff look way better than without it when stretched to 4K. I still of course think they need to up the res of this game on PC but this is at least something to try.
And here I was going to say "why do you need more FPS for something as slow as a turn-based JRPG. . . :D
jrpg press start screens > jrpg in-game menus > hidden object games > text based adventures > board games > rts > fps > 1v1 fighting games > rhythm games
