It also has the typical "sad / depressing background lore" that you know from NieR and Co. and that i don't want to miss.
The demo on the other hand is just way too short and shows, what looks like, only the basics of basics.
Who knows what mechanics the game throws at you an hour later. I was expecting that it might have a mechanic like Legend of Mana, where you gradually build up the game world yourself and add prebuild story bits and locations at will. Maybe there will be something similar in the full version.
I think I'll wait until reviews come out and then I'll think about it again
Constant story hero swapping wouldn't make sense, as then what's the point in levelling and building up heroes? Gaining the ability to swap out numbers of hero or ability cards at some point makes most sense to me tbh.
Could very well be the ability learning progression is inflated for the demo.
