Because they've patched the XBox Game Pass version of NieR: Automata, but have been blue balling Steam users who bough the game for the full price four years ago.

You and I know that they stopped supporting the game long ago... it was only due to popularity that they even mentioned fixing the old issues! I see this patch coming out in maybeeeeeee... 6 months!

They updated some things a few days ago according to steamdb. Probably betatesting at the moment.

I have the same doubt as other users. Seeing the ad I was happy and excited, thinking they finally fixed the game, after so many years ... But so much expectation only for about 60 fps ... And the improvements, to equate the Steam game, to the Game version Xbox Pass ... Then I realize the error, and that it is the Nier Replicant
Since the Patch announcement, I think they had plenty of time to do it. And if not, you can put this release aside and focus on your previous game, which at the rate we are going, will arrive in 2022 and we will continue to wait for the promised patch.
