Upgrading all weapons as bad as they say?
Ive got 5 achievements left, have 1mil gold, beat the game under 15 hours and the 3 weapon upgrade ones.

Is it really that bad? Ive seen some say it could take 20 hours which is ridiculous.

It's very grindy, I did it on the PS3 version, have yet to get to it on this one, so am not sure about overall time. Depends on how long it takes you to get the rare drops. Putting on some podcasts or music while you do it will help keep you sane.

Really want to get all achievements but man even the thought of it taking 10 hours turns me off. Maybe it will be something I chip away at over time or just do it when theres a podcast i really wanna listen to

Wait, that's an achievement? FML

Honestly I'd probably just WeMod/Cheat Engine it at that point, life is too short to do ♥♥♥♥ like this when you could be grinding out another game's achievements, or touching grass or something.

Eh, id rather not have the achievement at all than having cheated achievements on my account
heh yeah, and u also need some luck specially with the white flower gardening. It took me 80 hours to get all achievements but its true that i take it more slowly. But yes, u need a lot of materials to upgrade weapons, the factory is going to be your best friend with all the runs you need for materials xD

I agree. Trying to cultivate a lunar tear without cheese is bad enough. Besides many weapons get quickly obsolete so why even bother to farm materials for those.

It is grindy as ♥♥♥♥ and I do not recommend it unless you can manage to repeat the same 5-10 enemies on loop for up to 3h. Honestly? Grind for some time, if it is taking you 1h or more for some material just cheat it in, really, you'll hopefully feel you earnt it without damaging your braincells more than needed, I wish I had. I stopped playing just before finishing it because I couldnt bear to do the game again to farm them but it was taking hours upon hours to do some of them, it drained me and I left it there for months even though it is one of my favourite games. :Yonah:
Eagle eggs grind :AetherRay:
go for nexusmods...i really enjoyed this game but grinding materials is annoying
https://www.nexusmods.com/nierreplicant/mods/18
you need to install something called cheatengine....to activate this mod...im not sure if its safe...
run the game...open cheat engine, look for your running exe, open the "(Cheat Engine) Weapon Upgrade Materials-18-1-7-1624531267" fiel and edit your stash as needed...and save ...works for me....pc is still running =)
Cheat Engine can be tricky to install if you're a complete noob, it comes with a lot of adware that you have to disable during the installation process.

IMO, if you're gonna cheat, just cut the middleman and download Steam Achievement Manager. One click and you have the cheevo. Or all of them. In any game. It's very safe and very easy to use.

so you can either put the time in to grind something thats supposed to be yes an achievement, or just use something like steam achievement manager and give it to yourself and move on to the next game

or just move on without getting all the achievements? No shame in letting it go if its too much instead of literally cheating the system which defeats the purpose of achievements

well yeah you can just move on and not do it too :P people got so used to achievements being complete a chapter that having to actually achieve something seems alien to lots of them :D
