"This game has a stupid name and I will never play it" probably won't win you any jester awards here.
The community doesn't care.
it's a tragedy story about life after the end of humanity. androids attempting to keep false shells "Replicants" alive to one day transfer the digitized souls of humanity into. you play as a replicant who end up killing humanity losing everyone he loves in the process. NieR is less ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up but it does show dark themes and emotions in very believable ways especially in the final dungeon where the main character is emotionally broken
ver.1.22474487139.. has been confirmed by the director to be a random string of numbers he thought sounded cool. it also represents how this remaster of the original is in his eyes is more or less "an update". and it was built off the original's source code.
it's not the build number.
and dude you spent 50+ hours in "Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale". if you can stand that "cringe anime aesthetic" you can definitely stand NieR. it's a masterpiece. every game in the series is.
I hope you broaden your horizons. have a great day.
Well thanks for scrolling through 1000 games and thanks for reminding me. I am ashamed that stain is there from me playing that (although fun and unique core concept but oh so cringeworthy art style) game in like 2011.
I am going to the opposite, and narrow my horizons down, reduce scope and be much more specific in what I choose to spend time on in the future!
Any 5th grader would recongize that number.
1.5 obviosly refers to this being a remaster but with more changes than just visuals, yet its not a full remake.
Caim never had a a relationship with his sister, she wanted one with him though. Caim just wanted to murder the empire and their dragons who had killed his mother and father.
