Replicant or Automata first?
Automata came out first. But apparently Replicant is first, story wise? In what order should i play?

This is remastered version, original Replicant came out way before Automata.
You dont need to know Replicant's story to understand Automata, but Automata contains plenty of spoilers for Replicant. So if you want to play both its better to start with Replicant.

This. Automata spoils the whole plot and the fate of the characters.

Replicant leads to Automata. Not in a overall direct way sequels usually do but the events of Replicant do matter. Also I think Automata probably plays better so its a good progression. That said, Ending E I feel was a bit better for me playing Automata years before.

Ending E doest mean anything to new players out of context.

The visuals and UI is what I was referring to. As well as two characters having VAs from Automata.

Yeah well, I also think Emil's quests are more exciting if you've played Replicant before.

Actually it was Emil's quests that make me buy Replicant, so that's quite complicated:)
