I don't know how but they localize the prices for each country, I got affected by that as well, I had to pay a lot of money on release, and Automata is chepater because it's an old game, Replicant is a remaster that came out not even a year ago. Btw I find hilarious that you have Nier as your pfp but you don't own the game lol

Yeah Square Enix is somewhat like Nintendo (but worse because they sell jokingly bad ports or """remasters""" while Nintendo is at least mostly serious with quality) and even if I do not like to admit, this strategy pays up. Their games are not on sale frequently and thus keep a "premium" aura. This is mostly psychological of course.
Considering Nier Replicant, technically the port/remaster is an overpriced joke but the game itself is a gem, that is where lies the dilemna. I purchased it when it had a discount a couple of months ago.

Yeah (most) japanese publisher (the big ones) are like this, apparently they just use the direct currency conversion, without considering other economical aspects

Bought mine at 'half' price last month, at Rp.450k, (for comparison normal games are around 600k), at full price it was 950k literally a third of my country average monthly wage lol.

if there's no sale and didn't got bonus I definitely wouldn't buy it.

However the funny thing is price in Turkey is cheaper when converted to mine (and i did consider asking someone from turkey to buy it lol, though I abandoned that idea)

I just got this game and I entirely agree, this is an horrible PC port.

PS: And I just started the refund process, such a poor PC port is not 30€ ever.
