Scourge of Aerie
I have now done this boss 3 times and set timers to make sure I do it in time and my best is with 2:10 left on my timer and still not giving me the achievement.

You didn't try this on the first Boss within the Aerie, right? Because the achievement is for the second boss.

I thought Wendy was the giant eye thing? not much left after that fight

Well then. The only thing left would be the cutscenes. You must skip them all, even the onces after the bossfight. The achievement will be granded (time counted) after you regain control.

well that would be nice of them to add that those final scenes still count in the fight. time for a 4th run

I'm sure you did but just incase, you can save time by running behind it as soon as that part starts instead of waiting for emil, and you can also jump from the bridge above later in the fight instead of climbing down.
did this fight like 3 times, skipped cut scenes and everything, I still cant get the achievement. Killed it in like 4mins

Had no problem getting this just by skipping cutscenes. A few hints:

- Take your time for the first shades, as far as I'm aware, the timer won't start until you see the boss bar.
- Skip all cutscenes (this should be obvious, just mentioning it in case).
- If you're having trouble with your damage (here or in any other fight), try upgrading and using the Phoenix Spear. Also notable that you'll need Eagle Eggs for the upgrade, which you can only get before fighting Wendy (at the loot spawn right below the chief's hut).
- There's no point in attacking the boss at first while they still talk. It might take a few tries to find the moment, but you can start throwing spears once the shells open more wide (you can actually use the smaller blasts and shoot them continuously to see when you may hit).
- After the first cut-scene, where Nier and Emil tried to kill the boss, you can start running immediately. Just kite the white beam behind you. This shouldn't be an issue as long as you're not getting stuck. It should stop around the middle of the lower platform along the mountain.
- Run till the end and climb both ladders to get to the top and start running across the bridge (towards the chief's hut).
- By the time you arrive at the very top, Emil should start talking about hitting the back. Dodge through the bullets (don't stop to block or hit them, it's totally save to get hit once or twice, just keep dodging).
- Based on your weapon, words, etc. you should be able figure out the minimum amount of spears to shoot (think 4 or 5 is enough, maybe even less). Just shoot them through the magic projectiles, they won't block you.
- As soon as the shade starts moving again, rush back towards the other end of the bridge (away from the chief's hut!).
- While running, look down, this bridge crosses with the one below and with a well timed jump you can drop on the lower bridge. Double jump short time before landing to not get staggered (and to correct your fall, if you have to).
- Now just rush back to the entrance, finish the Shade, skip some more cutscenes and be done.

Did you skip the cutscenes after the fight as well? The achievement is awareded once you can move and save again.

Forgot to mention, but yep, that one got me at first, too. Probably an implementation thing, but also kind of interesting approach to provide people a clear cut on when to time, since sometimes fights continue despite a boss being at 0 hp. Definitely misleading, and I also hate you have to decide between experiencing the story and getting the achievement. You can just do them twice, but that's a bit annoying, especialy in the finale.

Those also drop in the third door in the diary (is that after ending A only? i cant remember)

you can get eagle eggs in ending B as well, not sure if the same is for C but I will venture to guess yes since the story hasn't changed much for me so far (getting to junk heap now for C)

Okay, that's totally possible, only did a few runs for weapons and for fun. :)
