I found a video where someone tried it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bTQHHfMFqv0
But the big issue to get over is that the songs are different lengths now. So if you just insert the old song into the new game, you'll get a potentially large gap of no music while it waits to loop, because the new songs are usually longer.
He's just trying to make himself seem important as a consumer even though he is not.
Well as a original fan of NieR Replicant here, the soundtrack is pretty good to me...
You know these two sets of soundtracks were made by (almost) the same group of people, right?
And you know as a hardcore fan of NieR, soundtrack needs to be bought 3 times, right? lol
(Seriously though, I do this -- keep physical CD and lossless digital copy of soundtrack -- because I love MONACA / Keiichi Okabe works)
Just saying. LOL
It should have been part of the game from the start with an options toggle.
Absolutely stupid not to include it as many older fans still prefer it.
There is nothing to "fix".
This. The new OST is a masterpiece that often even eclipses the old one.
Pretty much everyone i know who ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about the new OST came around after playing Replicant.
It just FITS. There is a reason for the new versions.
