[SPOILER] Diary question

It’s 1am can I come back to the diary or do I have complete all challenges before leaving because I thought it was gonna be some epilogue or somthing

You can just turn around and get back out. If you started a door you are locked into it until you either complete (5 i think) combat arenas or die.

Each door has 5 zones that take about 10-15 minutes to complete.
After finishing one you can leave and do the other laters.
They are also level gated and get harder. Door 2 is for level 28 and higher, door 3 is for level 33 and higher.

If with " second half" you mean when you start playing as adult Nier, that is still route A.
The diary only appears on route B and onward.
Have to finish the game once first.

if I die, can I get out? Got inside door 2 again by missclick
