Pretty much. Those parts were great. Automata did that too just that the section is way longer there.
Sometimes i despair for the attention span modern gamers display.
Nothing exploding or bleeding for 5 seconds? " omg so boring!"
Sigh.
The dev is known for trying to escape the trappings of standard fare video games, you know.
I stood in front of Devola for half an hour just enjoying the music.
Good 5 10 minutes staring at the scenery. (Screenshots for proof on my profile lol )
People have no taste or respect for the arts.
You are both clueless when it comes to story telling.
"Show don't tell" is the golden rule in visual medium.
They could have depicted all that with pictures, or in game cutscenes even.
Also not wanting to read in a game doesn't mean I dislike reading in general. No idea how you connected the two.
When was the last time you sat down and read a book?
I rest my case.
Yesterday evening.
You should put posting to rest for a while.
Liar - you can't enjoy reading a book and not be able to respect an adventure game with text in it.
Either your just grand standing and bored out of your skull looking for attention - or you have bigger problems.
This is an adventure game for bloody sake - there will always be text to read - that's an understood given thing.
How you thought otherwise is baffling to say the least.
(And if that wasn't bad enough - the majority of it is voiced - which is quite the luxury considering how cheap publishers are anymore - and your still complaining!)
Fair to say it should follow the show don't tell rule, I think it still follows this rule although I can accept the visual novel section as possibly not, that is a matter of opinion and worth discussing.
I like your response way more than your initial post.
