For my PS5 Controller linked with a usb clable worked.
In general, single wired controller to motherboard is preferred to avoid misc issues.
Yeah i had to run it once in Big Picture mode to get it to pick up the controller, now it’s working fine (PS4 Dualshock)
Case A
1. Connect wireless headset (via USB dongle)
2. Start the game
3. Connect the controller via USB
The controller does not work
Case B
1. Start the game
2. Connect the controller via USB
3. Connect wireless headset (via USB dongle)
Everything works as expected
Note: in both case I have to start the game before connecting the controller, otherwise the controller never works.
Might be worth disconnecting other USB devices to see if it helps.
You can try this method because it works fine with me:
- Go to Control Panel
- Click Hardware and Sound
- On Devices and Printers, click Device Manager
- Search for "Human Interface Devices"
- Disable all "HID-compliant game controller"
You can use the official layout.
