Resolution and fps cap?
I noticed my fps has been capped at 40 when playing on 2560x1440, but it locks to 60 when at 1960x1080. Already tried changing the setting between high and low but they keep the same lock so it isn't a hardware issue.

Kinda odd.

I think it's something different, maybe game locked by CPU. If you know for the higher resolution, you need a better CPU.
Also game looks like working only with a single core.
So for my Ryzen 5900x, the game works on 90FPS 4k and with 100+ 1080p.
But it useless until a bug with game speeds will be fixed.

Don't think that's it. I'm running it with a Ryzen 3600 and 5700 XT.
CPU is chilling at 30% and seeing windows core graphs none are maxed, while GPU is at 70% but underclocked. Also lowering from High settings to Low would have bumped the fps if that was the case I believe (and it didn't, kept still at 40@1440p and 60@1080p, no variation).

EDIT: Forgot to mention, "Performance mode" did nothing to it as well.

I think I have the same problem. My monitor has a resolution of 1080p and when I am playing the game at 1080p everything is fine. But if I try to increase the resolution by using a custom resolution or NVIDIA DSR I can't seem to reach 60 FPS anymore. My FPS get very unstable and they bounce around between 40 and 50

My "fix" has been going back to menu, for some reason that unlocks it and brings it up to a stead 60.
Basically: Start game -> Load -> Back to menu -> Load

I'm locked at 48 fps.... for absolutely no reason. Played 5 hours this afternoon at 90+ fps @ 3440x1440. Just fired it up now, locked 48fps

Try the above fix with starting game -> load -> menu -> load. That fixed the 48 fps for me

Yup, this worked for me too. Does the gameplay move really fast or is that just me?

The solution with reloading my save did not work for me but I found another solution. If you join the SpecialK Discord, they have a tutorial on there for fixing some stuff in the game. I followed that and now it is working properly. For anyone interested go to their forum https://discourse.differentk.fyi/ and then click on Discord at the top of the website
