huge fps drop

Guys help, i bought the game recently and sometimes there are big drops in fps (from 60 to 3/4 fps!). Has anyone else happened and / or do you know how to fix it? I have a good pc and I really don't think the problem is in the build.

I've played over 70H and never had such an issue.
What is your PC spec and any additional software running while you are playing game?

Gaming PC better to running less than 2% of CPU usage while no application is running.

my specs:
nvidia rtx 2070 Super
i7-10750H cpu 2,60ghz
16 gb ram
1920x1080p 144hz

and i don't run any program other the game and steam

Yeah, your PC should be fine.
Also game is fine. I'd recommend Special K though.
(I played though game 80-100fps as little faster and similar to Automata feeling)

So I think most likely your PC configuration has issue.
It's minor issue for normal usage, but for gamer lag is not welcomed.

You can search like "PC gaming optimization" and configure to avoid interruptions.
ex) notification, auto update, unnecessary service and scheduled tasks.
Better to take screenshot and/or note before and after change.
So you can remember to go back original settings.

It's a different game, but I wrote lag issue at "Windows 10 configurations" in following guide.
"Telemetry service" is tricky and cause lag every 1-2 min.
And Chrome and Edge are evil to take our resources.

yes i'm on laptop but no other games give me issues

Laptop has many common performance issues.
3D fighters game like SC6 above has issue too.

Better to keep AC powered and set power option to be high performance.
But still, overheating can be issue.
In some case cooler may help.

Mobile version of chips are commonly less performance as well.

The game does drop to 30 FPS for me as well. It is the game and not our systems.

the problem was the bluetooth headphones. don't know way but disconnecting them it works flowless

the problem was the bluetooth headphones. don't know way but disconnecting them it works flowless

I think it also has something to do with the bluetooth controllers. It only happened to me twice during the ~5 hours that I have played so far, so it hasn't really been a huge issue for me so far.
