Sometimes games are just done, this is one of them. It isn't abandoned, its complete.
Wait the this game is unfinished yet you hope they are making a sequel?
They cant be bothered to care about the game but want them to release a dlc?
Your complaints dont make sense. it sounds like they made a game and you cant get enough of it, so your mad at them for not offering more. Not that the game itself is bad.
iI the game is bad then say it is, dont wish for more from devs that "dont care"
DLSS is Deep Learning Super Sampling
Its Nvidia's AI graphics performance software. Basically uses AI to improve graphical capability of your computer while playing a game that supports DLSS, meaning you can make it look better generally with lesser requirements from your PC. If that makes sense.
AMD's comparable tech is FSR and Intel has XeSS. DLSS is widely considered the most capable of the three, and many games now a days can utilize at least 1, if not even 2 or all 3 (sometimes even some parts of each simultaneously!)
The game came out in 2022. It's not 2024, 18 months later. Sure SOME indie devs keep developing their games 2+ years (and bless them), but it's not unreasonable to think that after 12-18 months that a game is actually FINISHED if the bugs have been quashed, and especially if other issues (UI, difficulty, etc.) have also been addressed, which I believe the devs have done with this game.
How the ♥♥♥♥ is this game "unfinished"? You can play from beginning to end without game-breaking bugs (and mostly without any bugs really), apart from some plot points that seem to lead nowhere (which there are only a handful of), this game seems pretty done to me.
"The end game feels unbalanced and rushed", boo hoo. It's not really "unbalanced", get gud.
Rushed? Possibly, but how many games of any length DON'T feel rushed or unbalanced or <something negative> near the end? Compared to most games, this game's ending isn't awful at all.
Not sure what a DLC could possibly achieve? The Tiqqun reaches its destination and is destroyed, people land, start a new life - anything continuing from here would be an entirely new game at least (possibly with completely different mechanics).
Though they COULD release a DLC with lots of little extra side science missions - that would be kind of cool. But it's also not exactly really needed...
What would be good is if this game had some capability to be modded (for those science stories/missions)... that would extend its life somewhat... but don't see that happening, those things really need to be built in early on to be viable.
