Have I to dedicate a sector to stability building? What the heck?
I literally can't figure out what could i fkin do to avoid untrust from ppl, for no reason it increase and decrease randomly.

Trust goes down if mood is negative or up if mood is positive.
Trust can also decrease once in a while if something bad happens (electricity shortage)

My recommendation: build 3 memorial buildings in EVERY sector. That +3 mood, does not take workers. Then you add DLS center which gives you +2 mood with intense propaganda. So you have +5 mood bonus in every sector. With this you can do a lot of ♥♥♥♥♥.

Upgrade housing, gives a happiness boost. Build alternative life centres in each sector (+1 happiness, upgrade later to make it +2). Once you get the DLS building have one in each sector (+1 happiness) and increase propaganda to get another happiness point. Plus there's an legislative building to give bonus 2 happiness if you drop below 0 happiness.

Fun bug/exploit/intended feature - Build the DLS center, turn on Propaganda immediately, and then delete the center. Free +1 or +2 mood with no power or workers needed.

When you upgrade the propaganda, it still works without the center.

DLS centers set the policy for the sector, the policies themselves apparently are not dependent on the building being present, only if you want to change policies.

I put those in my 3rd sector to begin with bc I had so much space, but realistically they take up too much space to bother compared to other ways to gain +Stability.

DRS Intense propaganda is worth like +3 or 4 with research. Trains provide +1. Generous food is +1. Exo-Fighting Dome is +2 or 3 to all sectors with upgrades. Domotic quarters are +3. The Alt Life Center is a smallish building if really necessary and with upgrades that also provides like +3. Lastly, the law center backstops negative dips for +3 with research as well. Not even getting into the Hull Cult.

3 memorial in every sector is prohibitive in terms of space, also, is prohibitive how much it decrease and even is -0.3, with a memorial that can boost of 1 it remain -0.3. I admit that I was totally mad yester

The most annoying one is how touchy the "power surge" mechanic is. I feel like you can't go above 75% power usage without incurring a hit in causing accidents, yet batteries don't help prevent surges which makes no sense. Also the nuclear reactor doesn't provide nearly enough power to rely on for a boost, since it pisses through hydrogen so quickly. Its best feature is actually how it extends your batteries bc it keeps running while moving whereas the solar panels don't.

Yeah I totally agree, IMHO seems not test for late game... but only toughts

You need stability buildings in every sector, independently (but they still have a global stack). Unfortunately the game also doesn't pre-warn you of other penalties like having too many unwoken cryo-pods on board. I recommend a save regime where you can revert a fair bit if necessary. No ideal, but that's games. The lesson is learnt once, and won't happen again.

Meh, yeah, this is a nice tips, anyway workaround for a non reliable system is a bit un-optimal... i have 3 sectors, 2 stab building in the first 2 and for no reason, secotr 3 after 1 minute by it's opening goes mad..... WTF

You have a grace period with a +10 Stability bonus on opening a new sector. If it's a big issue, pause the game and use that time to lay down the Workshop, alloy and food storage, then a Quarter and med clinic if you haven't built the hospital/trains yet.

Oh boy, didn't notice that i have +10 grace on sector starts. Nope, seems a bug, but for now i leave the game where it is, i don't want to waste more time

The only stability buildings I needed in my playthrough was exo-dome with trains, DLS max propaganda, and maxed housing. I also picked up the +1 permanent stability event in chapter 3. That was enough to keep everyone positive + waste recycling so long as nobody starved and the power didn't go out. Never even touched memorials or ALC.
