I play on lowest settings and 30fps limit :))
rx 5700xt
at the very beginning of the game, I had stable, 80, after the patch I managed to get 60 frames, I moved a little along the plot, the frequency dropped to 20 .. the game just needs normal optimization,I'm just wondering what this game was tested on that they decided to release it, on 4090 in full hd?every new sector, and every new system, I lower and lower the settings, it seems I will finish the game in 800x600....unfortunately, the era of the beta test is not over, you cannot buy games at the start
settings@2560*1400 60Hz(use FSR to 3840*2160)
high quality settings
Play over 3000 cycles(avg 50~60FPS)
I built two drone zones and it started lagging(Too many drones in the frame)
Drops to 30~40FPS when switching regions
Check graphics settings and resolution, the game doesn't seem to save the settings
I have to reset the resolution every time I start the game
My current hardware setup:
CPU: Ryzen 5 3600 (recommended CPU: Intel Core i7-4790 or AMD Ryzen 3 3200G)
GPU: RTX 3060 12 GB (recommended GPU: RTX 2060 6GB or Radeon RX 5700)
RAM: 32 GB DDR4 RAM (recommended RAM: 16 GB)
i forced it to stay only on 60fps.
tho, you need to add the game manually since it is not in the list.
so, best is to start it, then closing it, then going into your nvidia settings under 3D settings, and add the game manually there. since you recently started the game should it be somewhere on the top as "last used app" select it, add it and limit the game to your hearts content. the nvidia settings will always override the game settings.
ever since i did that got i never again like 80~100% usage on my gpu and cpu. am chilling at 40~50% usage and my cpu is chilling at just 20% usage and doesnt even gets hot anymore.
bad thing on all this is, i need to use my heater again.
oh yea, depending on how many games you have on your PC is your nvidia system control for a bit stuck as soon you click the add button, just wait. sooner or later pops the window up with the apps in it xD. just watch a yt video while ya PC looks the stuff up ^^.
V-Sync causes your software to wait every time it sends display-drawing signals to the OS. The OS forwards those to a driver, then you have to wait for the actual electrical signal to be buffered in memory and transmitted fully to the monitor before it will do ANYTHING else. Turning V-Sync on used to help with certain graphic anomalies, but that was a long time ago. Across several different nVidia and Radeon GFX chipsets since 2018, I've found that V-Sync does absolutely nothing but cut your FPS sometimes to the point of actually making the game look like it's hanging for what feels like a full second or two.
