You got the objective to turn off the station AI? Check the exterior building options for the station. It should be under there.
I'm going to start the mission again and if it doesn't work, it's a bug >_<
(it's not the only one, because restarting the mission, makes me go back to mission 1...)
Did you talk to Remus first? I think Romulus gets locked out if you do the Remus science objective first and get the prompt for the genetic conversion.
I took the Romulus route, cos why not? But, the narration at the end just made me go 'eh?'
But once you have discovered the other viable planet, which has the message that it does not exist, you must wait for the message from your research center.
Then go to your ship's external view, and look for an asset you haven't built.
