RTX 3060 TI runs hot and switch of for security reasons

My MSI RTX 3060 Ti runs hot and switch the graphic off to prevent damage i think. Even if i set all parameters in the game seettings to low and reduce framerate to 60 and lower the resolution but this does not work also it stays on the default value. I have the newest Nvidia Drivers installed. Someone else have this issue?

The game seems to have a bug related to not saving resolution changes.

The fact that your GPU turns off is not the game's fault though, you should see if it's getting enough cooling. A GPU is supposed to run at 100% at all times without overheating.

Sounds like you need better cooling, yeah. Clean your case out, make sure your fans are all working. Clean up cables that may be restricting airflow

Thanks for the answers, it seems it is a graphic bug, ingame it switchs the screens off, but the game still runs. But i have to restart the pc because the monitors stays off even if i end the game or try to start the task manager. Cooling is ok dark rock pro is running well and the both on the RTX also.

so is it running well or is it running hot? are you looking at your cpu/gpu temps? dont blame it on the game when its clearly a system issue
