I just uninstalled the game to request the refund.
the game could be great, if it was better finalized.

- the tutorials are poorly done, incomprehensible.

once you've done chapter 1, you can't go much further.
we spend our time sending probes to find resources
but resource not found. unable to continue the game.
more resources to build probes. therefore not possible
to repair the station which is deteriorating very and too quickly.
it deteriorates even without moving which is unrealistic
and unachievable.
unable to figure out how to transfer resources from one area to another.
etc etc
there are not even several types of difficulty between easy, normal, difficult hard.
In short to conclude bacer game and badly finished.

I know some of these ideas are from Frostpunk but that game advertised before buying that its about hardcore survival....the hull deteriorating is the need for coal in Frostpunk. I expected a space base building experience
I'm not sure it's the game's fault if you are unable to find resources with a probe.

There are a LOT of bugs. Ive talked to 3 people so far who had bugged probes. And bugged accident rates. And bugged quest triggers.

Game needs a lot more time in the hopper; released too early.

This game is definitely not for people who are new to such games. It will take a lot of learning.
The original complaint was about the game not being able to find resources with a probe, not that bugs were preventing them from finding resources with a probe which is a different isuse.

The hull being destroyed can't be compared to Frostpunk due to the simple thing that you don't use coal to progress the game, you use other resources. In IXION the main currency is Iron, which makes you steadily lose your ability to expand operations.
I think that is the biggest problem over even the workers sabotaging cricket kitchens.

I think they can easily fix this tho, hopefully.

Bugged accident rates is an understatment. I haven't managed to even start the story after tutorial prologue because I began to instantly get not a single but multiple bloody accidents, ranging from the simplest things to like multiple insect farms and even DISABLED probe luanch dock exploding, dropping me rapidly from 700 hull to 200 in matter of minutes.

No, the tutorial is great. I learned everything else during my playthrough and I'm going forward. Got past 2 VOHOLE jumps now.

That's kind of silly if you think about it. All games should be for people who are new to such games. It's a bad idea to make the barrier of entry to your game so high that only a small niche of people can even play it.

Not that every game should cater too all audiences, but there should be some balance if you hope to make a successful game.

Technically, you can send a probe to an empty area which wastes the probe. Are people not understanding the mechanic from Mass Effect 2 (12 years ago) where you look at the green bars wiggle and then click when they're high?

That's fair enough but where's the iron?

There is a learning curve using the probes. Their pretty sensitive and it's easy to miss stuff if you don't take time. I had the hardest time even finding the planets at first. Maybe sweet spot could be expanded or maybe a tone could indicate better when your near something.

This is where I'm at and why I had to take a break. I love the game so far but I'm not sure how to solve the iron problem.
