I cant unlock combiner

It says i need 50 iron and 50 coal of which it says i have 0 of both but i am processing both in my factory.. I dont understand what i need to go to get 50 of both when I am shipping both out.

Hi, It means that you need to run 50 iron and 50 coal(separately) trough a science lab.
Once you claim the science the number in the unlock screen will raise.

Make iron and coal and fill it in a container. Then from the container to a science lab. Science lab= where you get your science points. Round building.

Do you mean the research dome as i been doing that for the last day or so

ah maybe you mean the coal and iron instead of the coal ore and iron ore

i can only see ways to transport the ore to the research domes not the finished product so i need more help with this

You have to use a mine cart to deliver the product to a research lab (not called science lab, sorry)
And yeah, its hard to describe every step if you dont know how to set up the refining and retreiving the finished product so i would suggest looking on youtube for a gameplay series. There are some quite good there.

Hi can anyone tell me why my research labs stopped working. They have electricity and i send resources to them which occasionally they take and then light up but after three days they are still on yellow not green and the other six research domes don't accept nothing. Also i am researching the claw and it says i need 50 coal and 50 iron which i have. However the kilo box says i need 6000 but the marker does not go past 3000 even though i have six trucks ferrying ore from coal and iron and gold and also ferrying the finished products as well, but it does not go past 3000 mark. Can this be linked to the fact that i haveńt reached my 3 monthly target of 3000 kilos or can someone suggest what i am doing wrong. I follow all the various YouTube videos but it does not help me with problems like this. I just wish Devs would attach a small print out manual like in the old days to sort out problems that arise instead of saving money by not including a manual

Research domes must be in proximity of each other to work. The interface forces this when you place them initially but in the past I have deleted one and been puzzled that some were not working. Research speed is based on the weight of product so using more advanced/refined goods is faster

That's exactly what it means. All those research requirements are based on how much the maximum that you've exported within 3 months is. You need to boost your exports to 6000kg within 3 months at least once to unlock that research.
