I am certain you will be missed dearly, who ever you are.
they suckin your ♥♥♥♥ or what? how can you defend a dev who abandons their game
Thats the way of gamers these days. All games should have updates forever or they are abandoned and the devs must have Ultra-wide support for the three people with $2000 monitors and Linux support for the 9 people dumb enough to try and game on a work OS.
truth is it's stupid expectations like these that cause small dev companies to abandon games.
Why does it say change review percentage? What's up with that?

Except that if you can't support ultra-wide it's pretty much indication you've done something fundamentally wrong in the way things are designed. It's not as though it's any more difficult. It's purely "we're not going to worry about that because we just don't have to".
If it mattered enough to make devs abandon games as you claim, then maybe, just maybe, it's something that developers need to be accounting for. I think that's a load of hyperbolic horse dookie though. It's less them being bashed for not catering and more that SOME developers know they generally just don't have to care because it really is only 5% or so.
The thing is, 90% of things I try on steam work just fine 5120x1440 or will at least work just fine in some other resolution without changing anything outside the game to make it function. You just about have to intentionally break it or just design UI with total disregard to aspect ratios/resolutions for it to be an issue. I guess its tech owners' fault they then need to wonder what other things in those games are ignored.
