Can't figure out connectors
I'm trying to use connectors to join 2 tanks - do they not go under objects in the way? Or maybe I'm misunderstanding the colour coding...

I know I'm being vague, but can anyone explain how they work with the colour coding?

Read the description in building tab (not the one in the unlock). It will help you understand it. ;)

its a bit strange behaviour and i reported a reproductible bug where connector not respect their color and the pipe valve direction
tought it work in most circumstances

you have to select the color of the tanks if many connector are linked to the same

the connector is the input. so you want material going into it. then click the tank you want the material to go into and click the appropriate color. you can only have 1 tank per color. if you want 2 tanks, you need to physically connect the tanks together.

remote connectors dont need connected to a tank...just set the tank color...remote connectors input to a machine. Only way to connect multiple tanks is the pipe type connectors.ONLY one tank in the line needs set to the color.

the remote connector, needs to have an imput tank. color coded to match the output connector. ie a blue connector needs a blue tank. it wont work in reverse

Well, this is a very confused thread.

Actual behaviour of remote connectors:

They behave identically to the connection points on the container they are linked to (that is, the one in the same factory as them that is the same colour as them), except for their location.

That's it.
