edit: I meant a playable character, not a sailor.
One minor thing that was bothering me was that sometimes when you right click on a sailor to assign him, his specialization (white text) will be very difficult to read because there's a cloud behind it (white background). I'd suggest changing the color to something that won't get lost in any of your background art. Or adding a background like you do for the assignment options, perhaps.
I don't plan to add playable characters.
To Fatterrific :
Thank you!
Yes, I understand, I think I added it a little too quickly. I'll fix that.
I don't know yet if I will add flag situations.
Another thing that I've found frustrating, was drifting to port, and not even being able to buy so much as a single ton of wood, coal, fabric, and/or metal.
About cargo in ports, it's true that it can be frustrating, especially when you take the risk of crossing a huge sea. I thought of adding something that will enrich the RP and increase the chances of not wandering around for a long time without being able to do anything. Because, as you say in your commentary, you stay in the situation where you are waiting for the defeat of this ship to start again rather than persevere.
