Bug: Character moves without interaction
Immediately after the prologue when the two characters appear they move to the right without any keypress.
It seems like the "d" key is constantly pressed, I can press other keys but if I leave, the right movement resumes.
I have many peripherals so just to be sure I disconnected all Usb cables, keyboard included, but they move the same.
I hope this bug can be solved because I really want to play the title which, although simple, seems inspired and cute.

Windows 10 Pro - Version 1903 - Build SO 18362.295

Hello :)!
That is a very weird bug. Have you tried quitting the game and restarting? That might fix the issue.
And are you saying that both characters move at the same time, to the right?
I'm sure we'll figure this out! I look forward to your response!

Quitting, restarting, rebooting. Not at the same time, first the white, when he falls then starts the black.

You're using a Windows PC right? Not Linux or mac?
And what happens when you try and move in the opposite direction?

Win 10 Pro. All other keys work it jumps or go to the left but without any key pressed the right movement reappears. It is impossible to make it sit still.

That is very strange- it could be your keyboard that is slightly broken, with perhaps the right arrow key or the D key that is slightly jammed in.
If that's not the case I have no clue what's causing this for now, but will be thinking hard on a solution to this weird problem.

I thought the same, and that's why I disconnected the keyboard but the problem came up again. I also tried other games and found the problem with no one, keyboard is fine.

If this can help I just tried two of your games on itch.io: Life is Snot and The Other Side and characters keep moving to the left without interaction. Maybe an Unity issue with Win 1903 update?

It might not be the case, but see if you have a controller plugged in...joystick or other. Sometimes they cause issues...

My bad...I see you tried it already...😁

I'm using Unity 2018 (for Life is Snot, the Other Side and TDW).
What's very weird is that only you have had this issue for now. Which is of course a relief but also very strange and annoying, for you most of all.
Do you have any other pc or laptop you can try the game on by any chance?

Only a Mac where i tried the two itch.io games that work well.

Check if ur pc is connected to a controller or something.
This could be the cause of that.

As I wrote in my first post I already tried to disconnect all peripherals.

Unfortunately my mobo doesn't have built-in Bluetooth so disconnecting usb disconnects Bluetooth adapters too.
